There's nothing like the cabin in the woods. It provides time to get away from the buzz of life, disconnect, and spend quality time with family.
There is sad humor in the fact that my family enjoyed time together at the cabin while each on our own personal laptops. What were we doing? Putting our pictures from the day on Facebook so that we could see each other's pictures.
But we didn't stay indoors all weekend. One of my highlights was Geocaching. Dad whipped out his GPS and found that there was a site not far from our cabin. After trekking through the woods we came to a delightful little port-a-potty. Inside was a treasure. In addition to the plastic poop, we found an assortment of traveling treasures of former geocaching trekkers.
